Cape Town CBD | Kamili

This was my second visit to this gem. I love how tranquil this branch is, if you know Cape Town CBD, you will know how busy coffee stops can get! Their other branch is in Green Point. The store looks out at the cobble streets of Long and Short Market Street and has an assortment of plants for that homely feel. Kamili Coffee is perfect for catch up dates and meetings.

I think the best part of Kamili Coffee is probably the Words at Kamili evenings where you can listen to readings of poetry, essays, extracts, prose by invited authors on the first Tuesday of every month at Kamili Coffee.

Review:

Food: To be honest, we never grabbed anything to eat in both our visits. Their croissants and baked goods do look delicious and fresh though. On the other hand, I had their coffee and their fresh juice. They have one of the the best red cappuccinos! The juice was a chilled pineapple juice, and it's 100% pineapple, so no added preservatives - only goodness!

Service: The staff greets you with friendly smiles and they're even happy to help you choose your coffee if you're as indecisive as I am.

Decor: Coffee bean bags and coffee beans, wood, exposed brick, green plants - Kamili Coffee's decor doesn't disappoint.

Overall: Since this is my second visit, it's safe to say that I am a Kamili Coffee fan and will definitely return for more visits. 8/10

 Cheers,  Ivy
